A bit about you

We're looking for someone to join the team who, first and foremostly, fits our culture. This means they "get" people and how to work with them - a people person is a must. We also want someone who is willing to come on the journey with us as we build the business to become Wellington's premier Trust, Property and Commercial law firm for individuals and SMEs.

The successful candidate must:

Have a current Practising Certificate or be eligible to hold one
5+ years' PQE
Be able to work independently
Be able to relate to our team and clients (both written and verbally)
Be tech savvy
Have a personality (which we'd love to see a bit of in your job application)

They will be responsible for:

Writing advice
Reviewing and drafting various legal documents
Meeting with clients
Contributing to firm direction, process and standards
Handling new sales leads and networking with other professionals

Have the Legal Executive qualification
Have prior experience in a property legal practice
Be proficient with Microsoft Office, Landonline and ADLS Webforms
Ideally have AML/CFT compliance experience
Have good skills in communication, attention to detail, decision making and time management.
Be able to relate to our team and clients (both written and verbally)
Be tech savvy
Have a personality (which we'd love to see a bit of in your job application)

What you will be responsible for:

Running all types of conveyancing files (both residential and commercial property) from start to finish
Assisting with pre-contract advice for clients
Preparing wills and enduring powers of attorney
Preparing trust documents
